Our Private Equity team is focused on investing in UK based businesses in the following areas:

  • Support Services
  • Specialist Manufacturing
  • Consumer and Leisure

We have a long history and a strong track record in all of these areas and can therefore add experience, knowledge and relevant contacts both in the pre and post transaction phase.

Investment Profile


We would normally seek to invest in business opportunities where the total value is between £10 million and £50 million. We can provide investment in any one situation of up to £20 million.

Typically we invest alongside a management team who have a strong desire to take the business onto its next stage of growth. Usually this will be the incumbent team but may also involve the introduction of new or additional management.

As well as buy-outs and acquisition funding we are also attracted to owner capital release situations, where there may be a requirement for an owner manager to release an element of capital value built up in the business. Situations where the business may require focused management to turnaround the underlying trading performance would also be attractive.
